Our founder and Head rod builder & designer, Dan Delekta, started his journey into rod building in 1975. Through his 50+ year evolution in rod building, fishing, and negotiating the ever-changing market of flyfishing; Dan has created a series of astounding rods that fit the broad spectrum of individual Angler needs & desires.
Beartooth Fly Rods are a perfect balance of aesthetic beauty and superior functionality. From our special 18 and 20 Inch markers from the reel seat butt to our 10-guide system on our 9 Foot rods with an oversized tip top to optimize line shooting capabilities. We offer an incredible variety of high-quality reel seats, handles and hardware that truly makes each rod one of a kind. You have the option to choose from our selection of western or full wells handmade burled wood handles, handmade burled cork handles, composite handels, or a variety of high-grade cork. Our finest hardware is also customizable to suit whatever fishing situation you are preparing for!
