Cortland’s Tropic Compact is a full floating line built with an aggressive short head design. Ideal for throwing large air resistant flies or punching a cast into the wind, the Tropic Plus Compact stays slick and hard in extreme heat. Offered in a wide range of sizes, the powerful head design provides a deep load that shoots a ton of line. Features include our new Grip Set Technology, dual welded loops for quick and easy leader or tip changes, and Cortland’s proprietary Precision Shoot Technology. Available in a pale yellow head and an aqua blue running line.
